Informationen zu RUPPRECHT GEIGERInformationen zu WILLI GEIGER

This homepage provides information about the Geiger Archive which opened in December of 2010 on the occasion of the first anniversary of Rupprecht Geiger’s passing.

The Geiger Archive looks after the artistic oeuvres of Rupprecht Geiger in his former studio, located in Munich-Solln. The current presentation involves works from different creative phases concerning „color-shapes“. Among them are examples from the group of works using an irregular format dating from 1948–49.

We offer tours open to the public as well as individual tours through the archive, we hold workshops concerning silkscreening or restoration, we provide for children courses to promote the understanding of art, bike tours to the artist’s works in and around the community, and much more.

We are available to you for all questions concerning Rupprecht Geiger’s life and work, for exhibition planning purposes, appraisals and expert reports, for matters concerning the purchase and/or restoration of his oeuvres as well as for his visuals in general.

Increasingly we are dealing with the works of Willi Geiger, Rupprecht Geiger‘s father and himself a painter and graphic artist.
